Forget Bows - Dress Your Baby Girl in Hats & Headbands

Forget Bows - Dress Your Baby Girl in Hats & Headbands

When my first daughter was born practically 10 years ago I remember trying everything to get bows to stick to her head full of downy peach fuzz. I tried everything from a glue stick to Ky Jelly to make them stick. My efforts paid off for a few hours (with some fast snapped pictures as proof) before the bows fell off and I was back to quadrate one. I also ended up losing all my bows when they fell off so I was constantly going through ribbon and bows.

After a gaggle of sons, we finally got our long-awaited microscopic girl to round out our family. I've noticed a huge difference in the fashions for this girl as opposed to our first. My popular part: no more disappearing bows!

If there is one thing I can encourage new moms to get, I would suggest baby headbands and crochet baby hats. They come in a variety of colors and most are made of fabric that stretches so they last a long time as your daughter grows.

The headbands and crochet baby hats serve as a base as well. You can buy bows, flowers, and ribbons to switch out based on the outfit you're dressing your microscopic one in. They snap or clip into place so you won't lose them too beyond doubt either.

You can whether buy materials needed to make the headbands and beanies on your own or find somewhere to buy them already made. whether way, your baby girl will all the time look adorable and you won't have to worry about trying to get your bows to stay on. What a relief!
